Last year, Xiaomi announced their newest firmware upgrade called MIUI 12 based primarily on Android 10 and future implementations based on Android 11. The new MIUI 12 ROM features advanced Dark Mode 2.0, Super Wallpapers, a new animation engine, improved gesture navigation system, and much more.
While many of the Xiaomi Mi, Redmi, and Poco devices have received the latest software update – MIUI 12, most of the ROMS are still based on the older Android 10. Android 11 rollout has just recently begun with Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC being one of the first devices to receive it.
Poco X3 NFC just received a new OTA update with MIUI 184.108.40.206 based on Android 11. This is the NFC variant found globally and may not be suitable for the Indian variant without NFC. The Indian variant is currently running build MIUI 220.127.116.11 based on Android 10 and November 2020 security patch.
MIUI 18.104.22.168, on the other hand is based on Android 11 with newer security patch level from February 2021. It features all the Android 11 goodies like advanced privacy and location control for devices, media controls, dark mode, and much more. The complete software version for POCO X3 NFC is tagged with software version V22.214.171.124.RJGEUXM.

It’s the stable release. So naturally you should get this update Over-the-Air (OTA). You can manually check for the OTA update by visiting Settings -> About phone -> System update -> Check for updates. The full update is sized around 2.3 GB.
Alternatively, you can also download the OTA update zip from below and flash the ROM via local upgrade method or Recovery mode.
